How we collect information
We collect information in three basic ways:

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to become a registered user of our service, and when you use certain aspects of our service (e.g., entering an email address on a form to send an email from your GuangGong account).

We collect information when you register to join GuangGong by creating an account via our service.

When you browse or use our service, technological tools including “Log Data” and “Cookies” collect certain information, as explained in the following section.

What information we collect and how we use it
Personal Information. When you register with us through the service to become a registered User of GuangGong, we will ask you for certain information about you that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Information”). Personal Information may include, but is not limited to, your name, gender, profile photo, free-form biography, location/hometown, website and email address. We use your personal information (in some cases, in conjunction with your “Non-Identifying Information,” see below) to provide the Service to you. For example:

Communications: We use your personal information to contact you with GuangGong newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you.

Non-Identifying Information: We also collect other information that you provide as part of registration, the operation, and personalization of your events on GuangGong that cannot reasonably be used to identify or contact you. When you register through the service and submit personal information to create a profile or visual collection, your information will be uploaded to the server and visible to other GuangGong users, including name, ID, points total, etc. Any additional profile information you provide will also be visible. Location sharing only occurs with your explicit consent each time it’s required.

Your choices regarding information
You can:

Unsubscribe from email communications by using the provided link or updating your preferences.

Disable cookies via browser settings.

Update or delete your information by editing your profile or contacting us. Deleted accounts may be deactivated. We may retain certain data for legal or business purposes.

Our service may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

How we store and protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data, but we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not ask for sensitive data via unsecure methods and will notify users in case of any data breach as required by law.

International Transfer
If you are located outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By using the service, you consent to this transfer.

Our policy towards children’s information
